Projectionist Slide Cue: Connect With Us!
Emcee:
We also want to give a warm welcome to those of you who are here for the first time. We are so glad to have you with us this morning. (Give us a wave / raise your hands — this is to acknowledge them.)
If you wish to know more about who we are or find out how you can get connected, there are a couple of ways to do that:
Firstly, there is a QR code on screen that you can scan that will lead you to some information about the church. We encourage you to check that out.
We also have a Welcome Hub just outside the hall after service. There will be coffee and tea, and we have a small gift for you.
This is an opportunity for you to meet someone and ask questions.
We would love to help you get connected with communities and events happening in church too. We hope to see you at the Welcome Hub after service!

— LITURGY —
Projectionist Slide Cue: Giving Liturgy
Emcee:
Please stand as we pray this liturgy together as a way to posture our hearts in giving and to renew our dependence on God.
(Read liturgy below).
Father, we come into Your house today with hearts of gratitude. You have welcomed us in, through the life of Your Son and lavished on us good gifts. We acknowledge You as the source of all that we have. Out of the abundance of that which we have been given, we freely give to You today.
We pray that You would help us to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to us. May we give cheerfully, not out of compulsion or obligation, but with open hearts and a longing to serve You and love others. We want to be a people who live free from the burden of endless accumulation and step into the lavish freedom of joyful generosity.
Give us faith to trust You for what we do not have. Give us generous hearts that do not waver in plenty or in lack. As we unclench our fist from what we cannot keep, give us true riches that do not run out and hearts that rejoice over treasure in heaven.
Father, we pray that as we give today, that You would receive these gifts and use them for Your Kingdom and name’s sake. AMEN.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Projectionist Slide Cue: Relevant verses
Emcee:
Please remain standing as we move into a time of worship.
(Short exhortation / reading of scriptures / share a sensing from pre-service prayer.)
(Be mindful to hand over to worship team by 10.10am.)
LET US WORSHIP! (This is the cue for worship team to take over.)
COMMUNION
Introduction:
Inform congregation we are taking communion.
Should anyone not have the communion elements to please raise their hands and ushers will pass them one.
Significance Of Communion:
In partaking of communion together, we remember Jesus’ death on the cross for us and His resurrection, we experience His grace for today and we look forward to the coming glory of His return.
Self-Examination:
Let us first take a moment to examine ourselves.
Prompts for examining our hearts:
- What does communion mean for me/us?
- Am I in right relationship with God and desire His sanctifying work?
- Not just confession of personal sins, but check my heart, Lord. Is there arrogance towards God and people, or apathy over brokenness and reconciliation?
<give pause for personal reflection and confession>
Prayer of Consecration
Father, we give you praise that You sent Your son, Jesus, to be our Saviour. Taking on our flesh, He humbled himself in obedience to Your will, to the point of death and rose again to defeat death, hell and the grave. Now we stand before You with confidence, reconciled in this life and for eternity.
On the night that He was betrayed, our Lord Jesus Christ “took bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.”
And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.”
Therefore, we celebrate and proclaim that “Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.”
So Lord, we offer You these gifts: Sanctify them by Your Word and Holy Spirit to be for us the Body and Blood of your son Jesus Christ. Sanctify us also, as we receive it that we may be made one in You. Amen.
Let us form groups of 3s or 4s, and partake of the bread and cup together.
<group into 3-4s to take the elements>
<re-group>
The Lord’s Prayer
And now as our Lord Jesus has taught us, let us pray:
Our Father in heaven
Hallowed be Your name
Your Kingdom come
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive our debtors
And do not lead us into temptation
But deliver us from the evil one
For Yours is the Kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.
PRAYER FOR KWEKS
Invite LG and leaders up.
Isaac & Justin pray.
We thank You for the Kweks. We thank You for the gift of this family and for the season we have shared together.
Thank You for the ways You have grown them, blessed us through them, and woven their lives into this church community. As they step into a new chapter in another land, we entrust them fully into Your loving care.
Go before them, Lord. Prepare the way and open the right doors as they settle into new rhythms, new relationships, and a new home. Be their shelter in moments of uncertainty, their peace in times of transition, and their strength when the journey feels heavy.
Give Ben & Corinne wisdom, patience, and grace as they navigate new routines, new schools, and new communities for their girls. May Georgine, Gwyne and Garinne feel Your presence in every new friendship, every classroom, and every moment of adjustment.
We ask that You would surround them with a new church family where they can belong, be nurtured, and continue to flourish in faith. May they carry the love of Christ with them, becoming a blessing wherever You lead them. Keep them close to Your heart, guard their unity, and anchor them in the assurance that You go with them and will never leave them.
As a church family, we commission them and send them with gratitude, love, and blessing, trusting that You, God, who calls them is faithful in every place and everywhere they set their feet on.
In Jesus’ name, Amen!
ELDER-LED SERIES
Over the next 3 weeks, our elders will be speaking and sharing their hearts for the church.
This morning, we have David Tan who will be opening the year. Let’s welcome elder David!
RESPONSE & MINISTRY
Projectionist Slide Cue: Response & Ministry
Emcee: (Take over after worship response.)
As we remain in this posture of worship, we want to respond to what God is saying to us and for each other.
(a) The Ministry Team will also be available on my right to pray with you on specific prayer requests.
(b) These are some words of knowledge we received (if any); please come up to the Ministry Team for prayer if you resonate with any of the words.
(c) Let us all also look for someone to share and pray with. Let no one leave church without being prayed for.
Let me pronounce a blessing over you before we minister to one another.
Option 1:
Numbers 6:24–26
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.”
Option 2:
Ephesians 3:20–21
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Option 3:
2 Corinthians 13:14
And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the love of God our Father,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all, today and always. Amen.”
