This one-year chronological Bible reading plan is designed to help readers engage Scripture as one continuous, unfolding story of God’s redemptive work. Rather than following the order of books as they appear in most English Bibles, this plan arranges the readings according to the historical flow of events. Narrative books, Psalms, wisdom literature, prophets, and New Testament letters are woven together so that each passage is read within its original context

One of the strengths of this plan is how it places reflective and poetic books such as Job, Psalms, and the Prophets, alongside the historical moments in which they were written. This allows Scripture to be read not as isolated texts, but as lived faith expressed in real seasons of suffering, obedience, failure, hope, and renewal. As the plan progresses, readers are guided steadily toward the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus, before continuing into the birth and growth of the early church.

This plan is best approached slowly and prayerfully. Each day’s reading is meant to be read attentively, not rushed. Readers are encouraged to notice connections between passages, ask what God is revealing about Himself, and reflect on how the story of Scripture intersects with their own lives. Some days will feel rich and clear; others may feel challenging or quiet — both are part of spiritual formation. If you fall behind, simply resume where you are without guilt.

The goal is not perfection, but faithfulness.

Our hope is that this chronological journey will help you grow in biblical understanding, deepen your love for Scripture, and most importantly, encounter Jesus in the Word, allowing the story of redemption to shape our hearts, our lives, and our discipleship.

A Daily Rhythm Of Renewal - 2026

1. Remember – Start With Gratitude

Morning Reflection:

  • How has God been faithful to me?

  • Where have I seen His goodness in my life?

  • What is one moment when I felt deeply loved by God?

Psalm 103:2 – "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits."

2. Repent – Realign Your Heart

Midday Reset:

  • Is there anything in my life pulling me away from God?

  • Is there anything I need to surrender today?

  • Have I been relying on my own strength instead of His?

Psalm 139:23-24 – "Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

3. Return – Reignite Your Passion

Evening Prayer:

  • Did I pursue God with my whole heart today?

  • Did I open His Word with hunger?

  • Did I worship with passion?

  • Did I love and serve others like Jesus?

Revelation 2:5 – "Do the things you did at first."
