Our vision is to help every family in The City reflect the glory of Jesus in the world.
Our family life pastors and marriage mentors seek to encourage, equip, empower and journey with couples and parents in their marriages. This is so that they can flourish in their relationships, family life and experience generational blessings.
At The City, we believe that all relationships were made to be God centered. Whether you are dating, preparing for as well as are in marriage, and parenthood. Most will progress through these stages and the Family Life Ministry’s purpose is to help catalyse our collective God-journey together flourishing with kingdom purposes. We desire to see marriages grow from strength to strength. From good to great.
The Family Life Ministry integrates a carefully selected set of programmes that we believe can catalyse and unleash God-transformations in your marriage and family life. These programmes are supplemented with a marriage journeying program that provides biblical principles, authentic sharing and applicable practices that will help you work out and enjoy your relationships the way God intended.
We have had the privilege of journeying with many couples over the years, and we look forward to walking with you!

Parents For Life Course
13 August to 08 October
Wednesdays
8.30pm - 10.15pm on ZoomParents For Life is a 9-week course that will equip you to parent with godly perspectives and practical tools whether you are a parent of young toddlers or a growing teen.
Hear stories and teachings from fellow parents in our community and grow together in our parenting journeys.

Tim and Patsy Tan (Programme Facilitators for Married For Life and Parents For Life courses)
Tim and Pat Tan have been married for 42 years with 3 sons, 2 daughters in love and 6 grandchildren. Their desire is to see the Gospel message being encountered in daily lives starting with marriages and family life at home. They are also passionate to have as many others to join this journey to discover the power and the joys of God’s truth.
In the City, they serve in the Family Life ministry. They are also leaders in the 2=1 ministry as Asia Pacific Directors training leaders and couples to be a blessing to their churches, cities and nations.

David and Jade Tan (Programme Facilitators for One For Life Pre-Marital Course)
David & Jade have been married for over 13 years and have 3 children. Some would say that their love for God and music brought them together. They met while serving on a worship team!
They currently lead the pre-marital ministry in The City. Ask them anything - they absolutely love discussing all things dating, marriage and parenting God's way!

Jonathan and Jane Tong (Marriage Journeying Mentors)
Jonathan, with his wife, Jane, are family life ministry leaders in The City. They have been married for over 20 years; enjoying their marriage and intimacy more with each passing year. They are blessed with 2 kids - Joel, 13 years, and Jaime Joy, 9 years, who constantly make them laugh, though an instrument of God to teach them patience, sacrifice and most importantly, the Father's love.
Jonathan and Jane are passionate about God's mandate for strong marriages. Together they have served as pre-marriage course facilitators and trainers; journeying with couples as they prepare for their big day, and after, sowing into their husband and wife relationships.
