Hi, church! Welcome to Sunday service! We are so glad to see you this morning.
If you are still outside, please come on in as we start the service.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Let us all stand as we prepare our hearts to worship.
(Short exhortation from Bible reading plan for the week.)
LET US WORSHIP! (This is the cue for worship team to take over.)
(Be mindful to hand over to worship team by 10.05am.)
TRANSITION
(After Worship)
Take over at 10.40am. Close Worship time. Church to be seated.
(If P6s and Youths start leaving for their classes.) We bless our P6s / youths as they go for their classes!
2nd WELCOME
Welcome to Sunday service! I am (insert your name), one of the pastors / staff at The City.
If you are watching online, thank you for joining us. We hope to see you at our service soon.
Newcomers:
We also want to welcome you if you are visiting for the first time. We are so thankful you are here. (“Give us a wave / raise your hands” — this is to acknowledge them.)
There is a QR code on screen that you can scan to find out more about our church and who we are.
After service, we invite you to join us at the Welcome Hub just outside the hall. We have coffee, a small gift for you, and it is an opportunity for you to meet someone and ask questions.
You can also fill in a Connect Card and pass it to a host at the Welcome Hub or to one of our pastors at the front.
We would love to meet you and help you get connected with communities and events happening in church. We hope to see you at the Welcome Hub after service!
ANNOUNCEMENTS
We have some upcoming events and I would like to highlight a couple of them.
PROPHETIC FOUNDATIONS SEMINAR — 19 JUNE, 7.30PM
We are hosting a one-night prophetic seminar with Ps. Nicky Raiborde — Lead Pastor of International Family Church in Lexington, South Carolina (USA).
Nicky carries a strong prophetic and teaching gift, known for communicating the Word of God with simplicity and clarity alongside demonstrations of the Holy Spirit’s power. He has ministered in many nations and lectures regularly at Tung Ling Bible School in Singapore.
This seminar will explore the purpose of prophecy, how the Holy Spirit speaks through believers to strengthen and encourage others, and how to grow in discernment, wisdom, and confidence in prophetic ministry.
Whether you are curious about the prophetic, newly stepping out, or desiring to grow in maturity and understanding, come join us for this seminar!

CHURCH CAMP 2027 — SAVE THE DATE
We are excited to announce that we will be having Church Camp on 11 - 14 June 2027!
Here at The City, we do church camp every other year. There is no camp this year, and we will resume next year.
Please save the dates, take your leave, and come away together for a time of seeking and encountering God as a community.
NEXT SUNDAY — SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: WAYNE SIM
Wayne is presently on staff at YWAM Singapore, and speaks extensively at camps, churches and Tung Ling Bible School on the Fatherheart of God.
He carries an anointing in bringing restoration and wholeness in relationship with God and with people.
As a 6th-generation Christian, he has a burden for youths who grow up in church to find their faith for themselves, rather than following because of tradition and familiarity. He also serves young marriages and families through coaching.
He will be speaking as part of our Paradoxology sermon series on the parables of Jesus, and we are excited to have him with us next Sunday!
— ANNOUNCEMENTS WRAP UP —
More information on these and other events can be found at www.thecity.sg/events, or subscribe to our Telegram channel for the latest news.
GIVING
We will now transition to a time of giving.
To give, you can open your banking app to scan the QR Code on the screen.
Please stand as we pray this liturgy together as a way to posture our hearts in giving and to renew our dependence on God.
(Read liturgy below).
Father, we come before You with grateful hearts. You have welcomed us in through Your Son and given us every good gift.
All that we have belongs to You, and out of Your abundance we freely give today. Free us from the burden of endless accumulation, and teach us to unclench our fists from what we cannot keep.
Help us to be faithful stewards who give cheerfully — not from obligation, but with open hearts that love You and serve others.
Father, receive these gifts and use them for Your Kingdom and Your name’s sake. AMEN.
Please be seated. The QR Code will be on the screen for a while more.
CHILD DEDICATION
PASS TO PHOEBE
PASSING THE PEACE
At this time, we want to welcome one another as members of God’s family.
Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you."
When we pass the peace, we are not merely exchanging pleasantries. We are declaring that we belong to Christ and that, in Him, we belong to one another.
Let us read these words together:
Chair: "The peace of the Lord be with you always."
Congregation: "And also with you."
Now, let us take a moment to greet someone — perhaps someone new, or someone you have not spoken with in a while — and pass the peace of Christ to one another.
SCRIPTURE READER & TRANSITION
(Introduce Speaker and/or ongoing series.)
Tim will be speaking today on Week 6 of the Paradoxology sermon series.
Before he comes to speak, let us welcome our Scripture Reader for the week: Stanely Ng.
(Ensure to handover to Scripture Reader by 10.55am latest.)
RESPONSE & MINISTRY
(When Speaker is not closing)
(Take over after worship response.)
As we remain in this posture of worship, we want to respond to what God is saying to us and for each other.
(a) The Ministry Team will also be available on my right to pray with you on specific prayer requests.
(b) These are some words of knowledge we received (if any); please come up to the Ministry Team for prayer if you resonate with any of the words.
(c) Let us all also look for someone to share and pray with. Let no one leave church without being prayed for.
Let me pronounce a blessing over you before we minister to one another.
Option 1:
Numbers 6:24–26
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.”
Option 2:
Ephesians 3:20–21
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Option 3:
2 Corinthians 13:14
And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the love of God our Father,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all, today and always. Amen.”
