ANNOUNCEMENTS
We have some upcoming events and I would like to highlight a couple of them.
ILOILO MISSIONS TRIP — CHANGE OF DATES
There is a change if travel dates for the Iloilo missions trip due to unexpected flight fares increase during the original dates.
The new dates are now 8-14 December.
Our annual missions trip to Iloilo, Philippines is a much-loved highlight in our church calendar and a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families to serve together on the mission field.
Partnering with Sonshine Center the team will be involved in youth outreach, children’s programmes, community outreach initiatives, and various ministry activities throughout the trip.
We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us on an upcoming trip and to register early so you can get flight tickets at a good rate.
For registration details, please visit the Events page.
MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING — STARTING 01 AUGUST
As many of you heard at our AGM, we will soon be moving to a new venue. We believe this is more than just a change of location — it is a new season that God is leading us into.
As we prepare for this next chapter, we are launching a monthly churchwide prayer meeting on the first Saturday of every month at 8.30am, starting 1 August at our new venue, Pico.
Come and join us as we seek God together, pray over this new space, and ask Him to do great things in and through our church. We would love to see you there.
NEW SERMON SERIES — THE MODEL CHURCH
As we shared at our AGM, we believe God is leading us into a new season as a church. As we look ahead, the question is not simply what we hope to accomplish, but what kind of people, and what kind of church, God is shaping us to become.
That is the heart behind our new sermon series, The Model Church: A Journey Through 1 Thessalonians. Over the next six weeks, we will explore how an ordinary church became a model to others — not because of its size or resources, but because of its faith, love and hope. Our prayer is that as we study this letter together, God would continue to shape us into a church that reflects Jesus and makes the beauty of the gospel visible in our city.
— ANNOUNCEMENTS WRAP UP —

GIVING
We will now transition to a time of giving.
To give, you can open your banking app to scan the QR Code on the screen.
Please stand as we pray this liturgy together as a way to posture our hearts in giving and to renew our dependence on God.
(Read liturgy below).
Father, we come before You with grateful hearts. You have welcomed us in through Your Son and given us every good gift.
All that we have belongs to You, and out of Your abundance we freely give today. Free us from the burden of endless accumulation, and teach us to unclench our fists from what we cannot keep.
Help us to be faithful stewards who give cheerfully — not from obligation, but with open hearts that love You and serve others.
Father, receive these gifts and use them for Your Kingdom and Your name’s sake. AMEN.
Please be seated. The QR Code will be on the screen for a while more.
PASSING THE PEACE
At this time, we want to welcome one another as members of God’s family.
Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you."
When we pass the peace, we are not merely exchanging pleasantries. We are declaring that we belong to Christ and that, in Him, we belong to one another.
Let us read these words together:
Chair: "The peace of the Lord be with you always."
Congregation: "And also with you."
Now, let us take a moment to greet someone — perhaps someone new, or someone you have not spoken with in a while — and pass the peace of Christ to one another.
SCRIPTURE READER & TRANSITION
(Introduce Speaker and/or ongoing series.)
Ps. Andre and Emi will be speaking today and to share what Compassion is about.
Before they comes to speak, let us welcome our Scripture Reader for the week: Rachel Ong
(Ensure to handover to Scripture Reader by 10.55am latest.)
RESPONSE & MINISTRY
(When Speaker is not closing)
(Take over after worship response.)
As we remain in this posture of worship, we want to respond to what God is saying to us and for each other.
(a) The Ministry Team will also be available on my right to pray with you on specific prayer requests.
(b) These are some words of knowledge we received (if any); please come up to the Ministry Team for prayer if you resonate with any of the words.
(c) Let us all also look for someone to share and pray with. Let no one leave church without being prayed for.
Let me pronounce a blessing over you before we minister to one another.
Option 1:
Numbers 6:24–26
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen.”
Option 2:
Ephesians 3:20–21
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to His power that is at work within us,
to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus
throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Option 3:
2 Corinthians 13:14
And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the love of God our Father,
and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit
be with you all, today and always. Amen.”
