    ONE YEAR CHRONOLOGICAL BIBLE READING PLAN

  • We are calling the church too journey on a one-year chronological reading of the Bible.

  • Reading Scripture as one unfolding story of God’s redemptive love. By following the historical flow of events, we see how every part of Scripture fits together — leading us to Jesus.

    WONDER WOMEN’S CELEBRATION — 07 MARCH, 2PM

  • We are calling for the ladies in The City to gather for a special time set aside to celebrate faith and have meaningful connections across generations.

  • It will be a joyful time to gather, share stories, be encouraged, and strengthen the bonds that unite them as women in Christ.

  • So ladies, come as you are, bring a friend, and be a part of an afternoon of warmth, laughter, and sisterhood.

  • Connection often begins with a simple step, and Community Gatherings are intentional, meaningful spaces for people to get to know each other outside of our usual social circles. 

  • You can be a Host — opening spaces over a shared meal, a common interest, or just a desire to get to know someone new. It does not need to be polished, only a willingness to welcome.

  • THE CITY PRE-MARITAL COURSE — STARTING MARCH 2026

  • If you are thinking about marriage or in a serious dating relationship, our Pre-Marital Course is designed to help couples build a strong, Christ-centred foundation for life together. 

  • You will explore communication, expectations, conflict, and commitment in a safe and supportive space.

  • Whether you are engaged or discerning the next step, this course is an invitation to grow deeper together and prepare well for the journey ahead.

    LENT — 18 FEB TO 04 APRIL

    • Lent is a significant season in the Christian liturgical calendar, observed over forty days from Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday. As we enter this Lenten journey together, here are a few resources to help you engage the season meaningfully:

    • (a) We have prepared a Devotional Guide for your daily time with God, including Scripture readings, reflections, spiritual practices, and prayer points.

    • (b) We are calling the church to a weekly Friday fast to keep ourselves in a posture of spiritual hunger and seeking. A Fasting Guide is available to help you participate intentionally.

    • (c) As we draw near to God, we are also called to turn outward — to live simply, confront selfishness, and care for those in need. There are avenues where you can give and serve.

      PASSION WEEK SERVICES —

    • There will be a Good Friday service on 03 April, 10am at Nexus.

    • This is a combined service with Life Church, and we are looking forward to hosting them and worshipping together.

    • More details will be shared in the coming weeks, so do save the date and make plans to join us for this meaningful and special service.

    • We will also be having Water Baptisms at our Resurrection Sunday service on 05 April.

    • If you are a follower of Jesus and have not been water baptised, we encourage you to take this step of obedience.

    • This is a significant milestone in your journey as a disciple so do prayerfully consider to sign up for this round of baptisms.

    NEW SERMON SERIES — FROM NEXT SUNDAY

    • We’re starting a new series next Sunday: "Paradoxology: Truths That Make Us Sing". Over 8 weeks, we’ll journey through the parables of Jesus together. 

    • We read again and again in the gospels of Jesus telling stories that turn our assumptions upside down, to reveal a deeper truth and a better way. We'll sit with the words of Jesus, wrestle with them, and discover how what once seemed strange can become beautiful, how what once challenged us can begin to draw us in.

    • These are not just teachings to understand, they are truths to be lived, to be loved, and ultimately, to be sung. So come join us as we explore Paradoxology: Truths That Make Us Sing.
